It's a gloomy day here on Long Island. Not to mention that it is slightly cold out there. No... It's not in the single digits like some other places, but to me it is cold.

I could not sleep again last night and just seems like I finally fall asleep about 4am then of course I don't want to get up in the morning. I guess it doesn't help much that my bed is heated and I just don't want to leave it.

It's a slow start this morning for me. I still have not taken my photo of the day and really need to do that before I completely forget and it's only day 6. That would really stink if I goofed up already.

Another boring day here. Not much planned for me. Just going to drop off a few bills, maybe order some photo's on line and attempt to get some of my collages done for the Coach's Hall of Fame Banquet. Shoot.. I just remember I need to order that CD also. Wow... I'm really slacking. Well.. I'm off to get that done. Shoot now I have a lot to do it seems. Hopefully I will post later my photo of the day.

Sorry to hear you're having problems sleeping :( I haven't slept very good the past 2 nights, either for some reason.

Insomnia sucks...I've had the worst time of it this last year. When I was staying at my folks back in Sept. Mom turned me on to Melatonin. It works great and isn't habit forming. You can find it in the vitamin section of most stores.

I started by taking 1 pill 20 minutes before bed and would up it to 2 on nights where I knew I was going to bed with extra baggage. It broke the insomnia pattern. Now I just take one when I've got that extra baggage and knew I'm going to have trouble either falling asleep or staying asleep.

I hear you on all the things to do today...I slacked yesterday and just enjoyed the silence of 3 of the 4 kids being at school LOL

It's gloomy here too Lynn. Not my favorite kind of day! I would suggest trying some melatonin for sleep too. I take it most nights because I'm a horrible sleeper.

Yeah, not being able to sleep when you want to really isn't fun!

And don't worry about missing a day with your pictures! If you take 2 one day because you forget, no one is going to know and this is what I didn't do last year and just gave up instead! Don't do that! I regretted it!

It's been gloomy and cold here too. Very hard to climb out of a warm bed! :) Hope you were able to knock off a good bit of your to-do list.
