Its Friday

It is a very gloomy day here on Long Island today. Light rain since the weeee hours this morning and cold out..well cold for us right now. I really don't feel like doing much when the weather is like this. ugh..I just want to curl up in my nice heated bed and pull the blankets over my head!
Ok... I went for my infusion last night. Very good to be back there with my wonderful nurses and friends. Some of the people go every 4 wks.(like me),some go 6 wks, and some go 8 wks. So eventually we end up seeing each other at least a few times a year. When I got there one of the nurses came right out and said "Lynn we have to pre-med you" I was like why??? I never got pre-med before. Well my doctor ordered it because he doesn't want me to get any infections and because I was on this for so long before I had to stop for 6 months it can cause infection when re-started. I was like ok if thats what he says. Well pre-med takes an extra 45min-hr to get done and it is done before my remicaid. I felt bad for my friend who I drive because that means she stuck there for extra time. It did end up ok though.. they started my pre-med about 30 mins before they started her remicaid. Then I find out the doctor ordered for all my infusions!ugh!!! It ended up being a very talkative group.. The nurses (Mary and Doreen) said that was because I was there, lol. They said that when I was gone... no one talked! ugh.. how do you do that for 4 hrs! I just can't!Hopefully this treatment will kick in really nice and fast so I can be semi- pain free. My next appt is Oct. 26th.
Other news... I'm supposed to go to a slumber crop tonight. It is from 6pm-6am. I don't know if I will be able to attend. I will see how I feel later on. I was also invited to a crop in my area for tonight..I just might go to that one. We will see.
Ok.. I've got to go... Hope everyone has a Wonderful day and great weekend!

Todays the Day!

Today is the day that I get to start (re-start) my Remicaid treatments. This is going to be a high anxiety day. I've been praying that I would be able to start getting my infusions for 5 months now! It has been a very painful 5 months also. I hope that my body will respond quickly to the treatment. This is like my last hope for now. I will update you all tomorrow on how it went and maybe I will take a few photos to share my 4 hours of killed time.
This is an old motorcycle and side car. My husband and I love theseDanny standing in front of a beautiful old war plane. This plane is all chromed out. Has a wonderful picture of a beautiful woman on the front. (see below)Sorry,, I know that it is hard to see the picture but it is so Beautiful! I loved this plane. I think it was my favorite at the show.
2peas challenge for today: Complete this sentence: I have numerous passions in my life. They are___________,________________ and ________. (elaborate if you wish).
My passions in my life are my family. They are wonderful, loving, annoying at times, supportive, creative, funny and just keep me on my toes all the time. I am also very passionate about wrestling. Not that crap that is on TV (that is just garbage). I mean Olympic wrestling, greco-roman wrestling, freestyle wrestling and scholastic (folkstyle) wrestling. I just love it! It is something that my kids have been doing since they pretty much could walk. I also love scrapbooking, this is a time for me. It is peaceful in my room where I can hopefully be creative for me. It gives me joy.
Wishing everyone a TERRIFIC day!

Middle of the Week

Yes, it is Wednesday again and boy it still seems like I have done nothing all week. I don't know what it is lately. Could this be a sign of depression???? I don't think I'm depressed. I just don't feel like my normal self. Maybe its the weather changes. Maybe I'm just tired. I'm not sure what it is but I need to snap out of it really soon. Wrestling season will be starting in about 5 weeks and I'm not even prepared! This is not like me. I usually have everything all printed out, everything organized. Lists ready. I'm behind. Need to catch up.
Now this is not the only thing I'm behind in. I need to complete my CJ that needs to be mailed out by Saturday. I'm almost done... but it's still not all together. Just another thing on my mind that is not finished. I really haven't spent a whole lot of time cleaning this house either. It might start walking on its own soon. lol.
I did however order all my photos the other night. Can we sale awesome price!!! I them done for 1 cent each plus shipping. I did 205 prints and it cost me $9.80 including the shipping! Can't beat that. I'm actually going to go on this site again and see if my coupon will work again to order about another 300 prints that I should just get done especially at that price! Can't beat it! If you are interested in the site and coupon code let me know....

This is a marine helicopter that actually goes on missions. Stand next to this thing you won't believe how huge it is. It can carry 19 people, has machine guns on the side. Pretty awesome to look at.Here are 4 planes putting on an air show. Incredible how close they are to each other.
Tomorrow I will try to load some more pictures of dh at the airshow. Blogger is being picky today.
2peas challenge: What are you in the middle of lately? Well... pretty much everything. I'm in the middle of cleaning. In the middle of doing my cj. And in the middle of trying to get my wrestling stuff organized for the up coming season.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Its going to be one of those weeks.... I see it now. Yesterday just seems to be a blur, and not sure what the rest of the week has in store for me. I do know that on Thursday I am going to be getting my Remicaid infusion for the first time in six months (due to insurance problems). I am actually looking forward to this. I'm supposed to get it every 4 weeks. It will be like starting over. ugh....
The new part-time job is going pretty well. I am just substituting for now with hopes of a permanent postition in one of the schools. This is fine with me. I just needed to get out of this house for a few hours a week. (remember dh is home 24/7??) Right now I'm working 3 1/2 hrs a day. Perfect.

Remember 2 weekend's ago Hubby and I went to the air show??? Blogger wouldn't let me upload the pics. but today they have. So here are just a couple of photos.Me and hubby on the shuttle ride to the airshow! (I look horrible, lol)Hubby sitting in an actual glider. The other guy is an instructor for gliders,(which my husband is thinking about doing)Hubby sitting comfortably in the glider. When the hatch is closed and you are not in the air gliding.. it gets very hot in there.
Hoping tomorrow I will be able to post more photos.
Hope everyone has a Wonderful day!

Where did the weekend go?

Here it is Monday and I'm still not sure where the weekend went! I do know that all day Saturday I was in pain so I pretty much laid in bed the whole entire day! The only time I got up was to run to the bathroom or to get a drink of water. It was a pretty sad day. I just couldn't move my body.
Then Sunday rolled around the corner and well even though I was still in some pain.... I had stuff that needed to be done. Like freakin' 7 loads of laundry! Those boys.. I swear. Plus, I needed to sweep/vacuum the floors and clean them. (those babies haven't been done in 5 days. ugh). Clean up the kitchen... You get the idea. Everything I neglected to do during the week. By 7pm last night I was exhausted. I plopped my body down on the couch and ended up watching The Green Mile. boy I hate it when the weekend flies by in a blink of an eye.
2peas challenge for today: What are some of your favorite candle scents? I just love cinnamon & apple... but I have found a few times this Mango scent.. Awesome. I also have a really good black cherry candle that is really nice.

How Did I Meet My Hubby?

2peas challenge for today: Blog about how you met your significant other. I was 18yrs old and my parents just uprooted the whole family from West Palm Beach, FL to freakin' Long Island. I did not know anyone in the area except some cousins that lived 3 towns away. I immediately went to seek a job. I noticed that a local Donut place was looking for help on the grave yard shift which I had no problem doing. My very first night there some guy (not my husband, but his close friend)comes up with a motorcycle and is trying to bring the darn thing into the building. I politely tell him NO WAY! This guy leaves and I don't really think about him again until he comes back with 2 friends at 4:30am! They were out at the bars and were coming in for breakfast. Now I'm thinking what is this guy doing. I go around and start asking what I could get them. The first guy says breakfast special and coffee. The next guy says the same thing. Now I walk over to my husband and before I say a thing he grabs my hand and starts kissing it and going up arm! I was like excuse me,,, but that is my arm and could you let go please. Hearing my very southern accent he just looked up at me and said, "I'm going to marry you!" Just like that. I don't even know the guy! I was like " I don't think so" He kept hitting on me and then he became a stalker.lol... I finally broke down after 2 months of him hounding me, following me, and sleeping out in the parking lot just to make sure nothihng happened to me. We've been married for 23 1/2 years! Sure good times and bad... but I will always remember that first night for the rest of my life.
Thanks for the challenge... I really should do a layout all about that this way it can continue to be cherished.

What a CRAZY Day!

Yesterday was one of those CRAZY, hectic days in my life. It started out like normal. Get up at 6am... get Joseph up for school... get the boys out for school (I really don't have to do anything since they are 17 &15) I just want to make sure they go, lol. Then at 7am I finally get dressed, take my med's, and get into the car and drive down to the Middle School track and I proceed to stretch out and then do my 2 mile walk and then of course I really stretch out after that. I then drive back home and I had a phone call to see if I could work. I call them back and say yes (that was stupid, but I need the money).
So I jump in the shower, get dressed and now I'm off to the doctors office. He called me Monday afternoon and needed to see me. Now that doesn't sound good, but in my head I already know it is about my bloodwork from a few days before. I get there and then about 40 mins later I get to be seen. He is always sooo busy. Well.. I was right.... my cholestrol was high again. He doesn't like it. Now I do have to mention that the bad cholestrol is 175 (yes I know that is bad), but my good cholestrol is pretty high also (75). Apparently, that is offsetting the bad and it brings me down to an average cholestrol level. But of course he doesn't like it. Now he wants me to exercise more! I'm like holy crap, I'm already walking 2 miles plus I watch what I eat. I rarely eat red meat anymore, I try to stay away from junk food (it is hard sometimes), but I'm doing as much as possible. Ok.. maybe I should try a little harder with the ice cream. He can't, or should I say won't, put me on any meds for the cholestrol due to the fact that I'm already on so many meds. So we are going to watch it.
I leave his office and head on over to work. I got hired as a temp. p/t for the schools. This is perfect for me. I just wanted to get out of my house for a few hours a day (if possible). Remember DH is home 24/7! So they asked me if I could be there everyday at 10:30am-2:15 until the end of October. I said sure. It is really cute being with all those little kids again. I forgot how funny they are and the stuff that comes out of their mouths is priceless.
After work, I have to head over to the Rheumotologist! They have to do a tuberculosis test on me so I can get my infusions again. Like I said it was a very hectic day.
By the way,,, still having problems with blogger, if you haven't noticed. Everything is all messed up on here. Still hoping they fix it. I also still can't post any photos. This really stinks!
2peas challenge for today: If you could change 1 thing in our world today what would it be? Be silly or serious, its up to you.
This is a touchy subject for me.... I would have to say ANY type of abuse. This could be spousal, child or elderly abuse. There is not a person in the world that has a right to hit or abuse in any way another person. This has gotten complete out of hand and most of these people who are doing the abusing are just getting a slap on the hand. There need to be tougher laws and law officials need to act accordingly. They just can't sit there and let it happen. They don't like to respond to a spousal disruption call. But they need to. Too many people (mostly women and children) are dying at the hands of their abuser because law officials don't want to get involved. This needs to be STOPPED!

The air up there.

This weekend my hubby and I went to the Air Show out on the Island. It is about a 30 min. drive from our home. It was perfect weather for the air show. This show had a bunch of old planes and also some war planes and helli's. It also had a couple of old police cars, armed forces vehicles and just a few old motorcycles and cars (not as many as we had hoped for). We stayed out there for about 4 hours. I wish the show was better than it was. It really was not worth the 18.00 admission per person. When you hear Air Show... you think you are going to see alot of planes and helicopters actually in the air doing flybys and stuff.... not here. It was actually pretty boring. We did walk around and look at a lot of the planes on display though. The old planes are actually pretty big. I would post some photos,,, but blogger is not letting me. ugh this thing lately.. It still has my whole template screwed up I don't know how to fix that either.
2peas challenge for today: If you become a scrapper-for-hire, who would you want to work for and tell their life story? why? This can be a distant relative, friend, celebrity or historical figure, living or not.
Hmmmm... I would have to pick my grandfather. I would love to scrap about his journey as a young boy from Italy over to America. Growing up with my grandmother and then marrying her. Once married living in the home that my great-grandfather owned and my grandmother grew up in for the rest of his life. Being a NYC train conductor. I'm sure he would have some incredible tales to tell that I wish I would've gotten to paper before he passed.

Gloomy Friday

Here it is Friday and it is awfully gray and rainy. I truly hate this kind of weather. It gives me the blahs! I don't want to do anything, I mean nothing. I wish I could just stay in bed the whole entire day. I will say that this morning I forced myself off of the couch (I couldn't sleep again) got the boys out, made coffee (haven't had any yet) and put up a load of wash. So I guess I did do something today.
You may have noticed that blogger is doing to something again to my blogspace. Everything has been moved around since last night. They did this once before about 2 months ago then about a week later it went back to normal. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I was going to attempt to move my slide show as a permanent bar across the top of my page, but noticed something was wrong already and didn't want to add to it. Still trying to figure out where it should go in the template (thanks for the info girls yesterday).
Since it is so horrible out there today I've decided to try to get down to scrapping today. I know what a horrible day, but it was either that or clean! I really don't think cleaning is in especially since I know they will be bringing all the mud in today. No big plans for the weekend either. Just a boring time here. Hopefully, I will get inspired to actually finish a layout. Thats my goal for this weekend. I really need to get my butt working on a circle journal that really has to go out in 2 weeks and I've done nothing to it. The ideas are there... but its not leaving my head to my hands. Ohhh well....
2peas challenge: What kind of simple things do you like to surround yourself with? and why? This was very hard for me.... I do not have anything elaborate. Nothing expensive (except the tv???) Everything in my home is pretty simple. I like to have candles but my kids lol. At christmas time I need to have my collection of santa treetoppers out. I display them on shelves, on top of the tv, centerpieces. I just love them.
Ok... I'm off, Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and great weekend.

Today is Thursday 13

It is Thursday! One full day away from TGIF! As some of you many already know this week has not been a very good week for me. I hurt my back, have not been able to a thing around this house (it looks like a hurricane's visited), have not done one stitch of scrapbooking (booo whooo) and pretty much just even feel like doing a thing lately. I don't know if the weather change has something to do with all this, but that is what I'm blaming it all on!
So here is my Thursday 13 for today, something to cheer me up:
My Favorite things to do!
1. I just love to travel
2. I love to sleep in, under the covers, in my warm bed in the winter
3. I love going to Wrestling Tournaments and meets
4. I love to talk to my sister every single day
5. I love driving in the country
6. I love cuddling up with my hubby and watching a great movie
7. I love on rainy days and the kids are home, we all lay on my bed and watch movies
8. I love to take long baths
9. I love to hang out with good friends
10. I love getting together with my sister-in-law
11. I love to do my scrapbooking
12. I love to go fishing (don't like to eat it though)
13. I love to have get-to-gethers with family and friends
these are not in any special order
Now I could really use some help from anyone that has added a slide show to their blog. I made one up last night (check out below), but I would like it to be a permanent showcase at the top of my blog (like melissa's,strawberry fields) and I don't know how to do it. If anyone can help me, please help me, that would be so awesome. I'm a complete idiot when it comes to this stuff. I really should take some classes.
2peas challenge for today: What do you do for this season around your home? To be honest with you... I really don't do much. Of course we are raking leaves almost every other day. I don't decorate much for the fall. I but out some wonderful pumpkin candles and I add lots of orange, red and yellows. My daughter and her boyfriend always decorate outside. Haystack, cornstalks, pumpkins very nice.

I created a Slide Show! Check it out!

Fall is coming

The fall season is creeping upon us now. The last few days it has been very crisp out there. At night it is dipping down to low 40's. I'm not so sure I'm ready for this. I'm more of a hot and dry weather type of person. Why I'm still living here on Long Island I'll never know.. .. ooops, I do know.. My husband was born only 4 blocks away and we live 4 blocks away from the house he lived in his entire life until we got married. My husband does not like change. He claims he needs his ocean. We hardly even go out on the boat anymore. I personally don't really need it anymore. It is nice to look at and be around but I'm done with it, I think.
My back is starting to feel a little better. I'm going to my family doctor today and see what he wants me to do. I know he is going to tell me to go to the Rheumotologist. I already set up an appt. for tomorrow. If that doesn't work... its off to the accupuncturist. I'm due for that anyway. I haven't been for almost 3 years. They fixed me up the last time in 2 visits!
Todays 2 peas challenge: If I had a motto, it would be:
Live life like there is no tomorrow!
Have a Wonderful Day!

Terrific Tuesday!

Good morning to all! It is a wonderfully beautiful, crisp morning here on Long Island today. The sun is shining, the birds are chripping and everything is good. Well almost everything. I don't know what I did yesterday morning but I can barely move! I did something to my lower back and boy it is bad. I am supposed to go on a job interview at 10:30 and I just can't get myself moving. I hope I make it there. It is just for p/t work about 18 hours a week. I just need something to get out of this house for a few hr's and get away from dh who is home 24/7! I'm sure you all understand.
I'm going to make this post short and sweet. There is so much going on here this week I will be happy if I get to blog everyday. I have many dr's appts that I'm catching up on this week. That means alot of time just sitting in waiting rooms. What was I thinking making them all for the same week. I'm losing my mind!
That is it really. Hope everyone has a terrific day.

The Toga Party

My sister-in-law has a toga party every year. It is a celebration she has for her birthday (which is in Oct.) Every year she has a terrific turnout and this year was no different. Lots of food, drink and song! Everyone had a wonderful time. The party started at about 5pm and the last guests to leave left at about 2am! I stayed afterwards to help clean up and we were done by 3am! What a night.
Here are just a few photos. It is a lot of fun. This is me and my son Joseph.
This one is of Joseph and my sister-in-law dancing together. Too cute.
And this one is of my sister-in-law and 2 of her close friends, posing ...too funnyCan you tell there is a party going on? lol.
Today is a day of reflection for most of us. My heart and prayers are with everyone who was touched by this tragic event 5 years ago.

TGIF!

All I can say is :"THANK GOD ITS FRIDAY!" I don't know why I just couldn't wait for this week to end! It is a beautiful day out there again today. I do have some cleaning that needs to be done but who knows when I will get to it. It has been pretty boring here the last few days (with the exception of cleaning, lol). I can't wait until Wrestling season is in full force. I am just starting to get all my papers organized this way there won't be any surprises last min.
Yesterday, I was able to get a 1 3/4 mile walk at the High School (which I hate) and then ran into the chief of security for the school (I know him) and asked when they were opening the resurfaced track at the Middle School? He said that it should already be open. It wasn't. So last night my dh wanted to go fly his airplane and I decided I would try to get a mile in and see if the track was open. It was!!! But apparently not for long. No lines yet and they said they might do them next week. OH BOY!
2peas challenge: What do you do when you are feeling down?.... to get your spirits lifted?- I do a lot of different things. I will walk sometimes and think happy thoughts. Sometimes I will just take a drive and then go down by the docks or the beach. Other times, I will take in a funny movie.

Its a Wonderful Day!

Good morning! I can't believe it, but the sun is finally shining and it is a beautiful day today. I might even attempt to soak up a few rays. It is only supposed to get to about 72 today, but heck I'll take the sunshine anytime I can.
As promised yesterday, I got pictures of Joseph in his favorite outfit. You've got to love the hat! He is so funny.

Other than that there is nothing else going on here. Oh, btw, I was able to clean my entire kitchen yesterday and even the whole frig! It actually looked like a brand new frig! lol
Ok, I'm off to put up a sauce/gravy for my baked ziti for dinner tonight and I still need to make my meatballs. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

First Day of School!

Yeah!!! It's the First Day of School here on Long Island! I could not wait to get the boys out for the day. I know that seems mean, but I'm sure once your little ones get to be 17 and 15 you will love that feeling also. lol I can't wait to show you pictures of the 15 year old from this morning. He is so funny. Forget about the 17 year in pictures (unless he is flexing his muscles, lol). So this morning I asked Joseph (15) if he was going to school with DJ (17) this morning, (DJ now has a car). Joseph's response was a big HELL NO! I took that as a sign that he didn't want to be seen with big brother. lol
I am happy to report that I did 1 1/2 mile walk today. They still don't have my track open. They were re-surfacing it over 3 weeks ago and told us that it would only take 4 days... Yeah ok. So I had to walk at the high school which I'm not fond of that track. NO CUSHION. The paved track makes my whole body ache.
Today is dedicated to actually cleaning my entire kitchen! I need alot of help with this. I refused to deep clean this summer when my kids came in after I just cleaned the whole kitchen from top to bottom and spilled stuff all over the place, left stuff all over the counters and didn't and wouldn't clean up after themselves. So basically, I went on STRIKE! I did not do dishes unless I used them. They were looking for plates, glasses, spoons and forks all the time. Heck the sink was full of them that you used I told DJ. He just looked at me. Hey I warned them that I would strike, and I did. Now that they are in school... no mess around.
As for the 2 peas challenge today: What handmade items are you making for Christmas this year? Anything? Any ideas? Well, I think I'm going to be doing handmade scraves and hats for my neices and nephews. That is all that I can think of right now.

More Tennis?

As you can tell, I did not get to blog yesterday. Nothing really exciting going on here. Just all the hustle and bustle of trying to get the boys set for school (which starts tomorrow!).Can you hear my EXCITEMENT!!! My house will be clean for more than 5 mins. It will be truly amazing. Plus, I have to tell you, being that they are 17 and 15, I'm so tired of them always looking for me and hunting me down even when I'm trying to hide in my scraproom. I know that my days will be a little more hectic with all the running around that I do for them with school, but I can't wait.
I've been pretty bad (well the weather has helped) I have not been doing my daily walk since I got back from Las Vegas. I really have to get back into the swing of things. My body is killing me and I think it is because I have been very lazy! It is use to walking at least 2 miles everyday and doing 200 sit-ups! I've also had a very hard time getting up in the morning, ugh! I am usually up by 6:15am lately I'm not getting up until 8am (this could be bad for tomorrow, I better set the alarm). Could I be depressed????? I wonder what I'm depressed about??? Oh, boy... Let me stop.
Tennis news....... I'm sure you've heard that Andre Agassi lost the other night to Benjamin Becker (so sad). He is my favorite player and I'm very sad that he won't be playing anymore, but I do understand. At the age of 36 it is hard to keep up with all these young guns coming onto the circuit. As posted in previous posts, my husband and I went to the Open on Thursday and we got to watch some great tennis. Here are a few more pictures.

This is Justine Henin-Hardiene. She is ranked #2 in the world right now. She is from Belgium. Justine has been around for a few years now. She is this tiny little woman, and very fast. Not my favorite womens player (Lindsay Davenport is) but she is ok.
As for the 2peas challenge for today: Think of one of your best friends, what is the first thing people would notice about that person? This was pretty easy for me. My best friend has been my best friend (non-relative) for 30 years! I think the first thing people would notice is that she is very caring, loving person. She listens to what you have to say. She is a shoulder to lean on when needed. Sandy is the first person to go out of her way to help you when you need it. Heck, that is why she is my best friend. We lean on each other in times of bad. We laugh with each other in the good. It is sad that we live so far apart (not across the country, but far) we don't get to see each other like other best friends but we do try to talk to each other all the time. She lives in NC and of course I live in NY (Long Island).
Well that is it for me today. I hope everyone has a Wonderful Day!

Hitting the Stores!

Today will be a day spent sneaker shopping for my son Joseph and returning the clothes that I ordered for him on-line from Old Navy. He needs a bigger size! I can't believe he finally grew! In April I got him all 12's so he said that they were getting tight. I ordered last week size 14's and they are still tight. So we are going to stop at the Old Navy stores and see if we can exchange them for the bigger size. He wanted 3 pairs of jeans and 2 pairs of jean shorts from there. Going shopping with Joseph is an experience! Oh boy..... and forget about sneaker shopping. So I figure this to be an all day thing. It will be fun.
As promised I have few pictures from the US OPEN that I want to share today.

These are of Raphael Nadal he is #2 ranked in the world right now. He was on the practice courts when we got to see him. He recently turned 20 years old! Very cute kid. He is from a little island in Spain. Nadal is very exciting to watch. He is now one of my husbands favorites! (My favorite is still Andre Agassi). I will try to get more photos up tomorrow.
2peas challenge: What would you do today if you could do anything you have a deep desire to do? If you had the means, what would you do? Hmmmm.. If it is something for just today, not like a vacation that lasts a week, then I would say go to the US OPEN and be able to sit in the box seats at Arthur Ashe Stadium. That is what I would do if I had the means.

Tropical Depression

We are getting hit with the leftovers of tropical depression Ernesto! Yes, this means that tennis is probably not going to happen today and if it does it is already really delayed! This could be good for Andre Agassi though. I hope he gets a chance to rest one more day.
The wind has been horrible all morning and early afternoon. There are quite a bit of tree branches down. WE really haven't gotten much rain since last night/early morning. Maybe a little drizzle. The weather channel is saying that this will pass by late evening.
Here on the homefront there is nothing much going on. I really hate days like this, they make me just want to stay in my nice warm bed for the entire day. I don't want to clean... the boys and Danny will be tracking in all kinds of mud and rocks with their shoes. It is useless to clean on a day like today in my house, but boy does it need it. While I was gone they did nothing. Typical.
I think I might finish editing my US Open pictures from Thursday and order some so I can do some Layouts with them. I haven't done anything scrapbook related since I got home from Las Vegas Tuesday night. I also need to finish up getting a few things for Joseph for school, thank goodness it starts on Wednesday! Yeah for me! Hopefully I will be able to get some of this house clean!
Oh well, until tomorrow! Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!

Tennis Anyone?

Ok, Danny and I decided the last minute on Wednesday evening to go to the US Open yesterday for the entire day! It was the most perfect day! It was a little cool in the morning but boy did it heat up by 2pm. The tennis was awesome! We got to watch: Kuznetsova, Henin-Hardiene, Shaugnessy, Hewitt, Monfils, Nadal (practicing), The Bryan Brothers, Mauresmo, Martina Navratinova and then Bagdahtis and Agassi! It was great. We are trying to see about getting tickets for Monday now. The weather is not supposed to be the greatest. Hopefully it won't rain on Monday. They are calling for rain the whole weekend. Stinks! I have lots of pictures that I have load up so be prepared. I'm also hoping to scrapbook some of them also.
2peas challenge: Blog about the relationship you have with your parents.
I have a great relationship with my parents! We are very close. My dad even calls me like 10 times or more a day. lol. My dad is a little nuts right now because he is bored out of his mind since he retired about 1 month ago. I actually just left there. I visited with them and my sisters for 10 days. They live in Las Vegas and I live in NY (Long Island).
