Yes, it never ends here! For all of you who follow my blog and pretty much everything that goes here is some more for you.
We got back DJ's blood work finally that he took on Wednesday. He has sever Ebstein Barr Disease and Mono. He is devastated. Because he just can't continue with school this semester. He is exhausted all the time. He keeps getting fevers. Its pretty bad this time to where the dr. is sending him now to an Infectious Disease dr. If any of you remember back to Christmas time last year... he just had mono. That wiped him out for 4 full weeks. And to be honest... even longer. We were trying to figure out how to get him to school and to classes, but it just won't work. He has many classes and he is just not functioning at all. This poor kid has not even gone to the gym in almost 2 weeks because he is so weak and tired. Also, very bad sore throat, and swollen glands. I keep wondering "WHY?" Why him. He is the one kid that tries so hard, works so hard and has the most determination out of all my kids. Hopefully, he will get better soon.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Oh, that is awful! He must feel horrible. Hopefully the doctors can figure out how to make him feel better soon.
Hope he feels better soon! Are there any of his classes he can take online?
Cam really appreciated your comments on his book...Thanks.
Oh Lynn I am so sorry! It must be so hard for him to have to sit back and recuperate when he wants to be busy. Sending ((hugs)) your way!
Oh no! That's so devastating! Poor DJ :(
Hopefully he'll make a full recovery soon, he's young and strong so hang in there.
oh no, I will pray for him. DAna
What a double whammy! Tell him to follow doctors orders so he can get back at it soon!
Glad you're taking him to a specialist, hope he feels better soon.
Oh Lynn...I'm so sorry to hear about DJ, but I hope with a good diagnosis that they can do something about it to help get that kid healthy again! *fingers crossed for a quick recovery**
Hi Lynn, just popped over and saw this post. I had Mono in '96. 2 months off work and lots and LOTS of rest. Hope he gets through it quickly :) Its a long haul :(
